The Cesanese Matidia by Casale del Giglio is a red wine from the Olevano Romano area, in the Alban Hills, which ages for 12 months between 5-hectolitre oak tonneaux and steel tanks: it presents an intense ruby red to the eye, then to release notes of morello cherries and ripe cherries, oriental spices and red flowers on the nose, while the taste is fine, fresh, lingering and with intact tannins.
