1-Lucie 2022 Sun Chase Vineyard Chardonnay Petaluma Gap Sonoma $64.99 bottle six pack $56.00 bottle
Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
This is a big, plushy textured Chardonnay with plenty of buttered popcorn, vanilla and ripe pear aromas on the nose. The palate brings flavors of juicy apple, toasted coconut, sweet cinnamon and brioche with a leesy, salty character on the long finish. Consulting Winemaker and Viticulturalist: Kirk Venge.
2-Lucie 2022 Pinot Noir Lytton Annapolis Vineyard West Coast Sonoma $79.99 bottle six pack $68.00 bottle
Wine Enthusiast 94 Rating
Bright reduced cherry, orange peel and black tea aromas drive the nose of this captivating Pinot. The palate is fresh and intense, with vibrant raspberry-lemon acidity darting back and forth across the length of the finish along with whispers of baking spice, fried shiitake mushroom and cocoa. Consulting Winemaker and Viticulturalist: Kirk Venge.

Sweet red and black fruits, leather, spicy oak, sagebrush, and a kiss of incense define the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Napa Valley, another charming, forward, delicious wine from this estate. It’s nicely balanced, has ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It should have a solid 8-10 years of prime drinking. Consulting Winemaker and Viticulturalist: Kirk Venge.
5-Janzen 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Cloudy’s Vineyard Napa Valley $154.99 bottle six pack $135.00 bottle
Jeb Dunnuck 95+ Rating
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Cloudy’s Vineyard comes from an estate vineyard located in the Dutch Henry Canyon, situated between the Switchback and Hourglass vineyards. Ripe currants, blueberries, leafy tobacco, iron, and chocolate all emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a focused, elegant mouthfeel, a terrific sense of freshness, and outstanding length. It’s drinking nicely today, yet this beauty should easily have 15+ years of total longevity. Consulting Winemaker and Viticulturalist: Kirk Venge.
6-Janzen 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vyrd $199.99 bottle six pack $185.00 bottle
Decanter Magazine 96 Rating
From the Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper vineyard in Oakville. Aged 28 months in 100% new French oak. Mostly in Taransaud barrels, for winemaker Kirk Venge, lends a pretty maple note. This is a wonderfully dark-fruited wine with lifted cedarwood notes tinged with caramel and toffee spices with hints of graham cracker crust. The tannins take on a sappy quality but are super fine-grained. For Venge’s approach, oak is very important in the tannins it delivers. In these Beckstoffer Heritage Vineyards, the tannins back up the fruit’s intensity and deliver it towards a lengthy finish. Consulting Winemaker and Viticulturalist: Kirk Venge.
7-Janzen 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vyrd $279.99 bottle six pack $235.00 bottle
Wine Advocate 96 Rating
Scents of black cherries and raspberries mingle with loamy earth, cedar and dried spices on the nose of the 2021 Janzen Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard. Full-bodied and concentrated, it manages to be more savory than fruity, though not lacking in fruit, with a supple framing of fine-grained tannins and a lingering, lip-smacking finish. It’s an excellent example of the variety and site. Consulting Winemaker and Viticulturalist: Kirk Venge.
