This is an easy drinking, a fruit-forward, and gratifying effort that should be enjoyed over the next five years. A beautiful intensity persists on the palate, with explosive fresh blue and black fruits, coffee bean and dried herbs. An almost chewy texture balances generous tannins and a lingering fresh finish. Medium to full-bodied, it is wonderfully expressive in the mouth with tons of stone fruit and spicy layers, finishing with great length. 250 cases are due to be made.
