    $69.99

    Russian River Valley California
    Enjoyabilityfactor 93 Rating
Planted in 1904, our Croix Estate Vineyard Zinfandel is a heritage vineyard site located next door to the Fanucchi Wood Road Vineyard and across the drive from the Chelli and Belloni Vineyards near the intersection of Woolsey and Wood Road. Our 2021 vintage of this wine establishes itself smack in the middle of big, bold, and balanced. Eight acres of gnarly old-vine Zinfandel from our newest estate produces this testament to Napa Valley history. Impenetrable, glass coating color leads fans of Zinfandel to loads of blackberries, white pepper spice, sweet honeysuckle, crushed blue herbs and a very full, viscous, and lengthy finish. This is approachable upon release and will age, when cellared correctly, for 5 to 8 years. R38-3

The 2015 vintage was a wonderfully long and balanced growing season, with an early budbreak at the end of February and slow ripening through August and into September. We picked our Chardonnay by hand, at dawn. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed and the juice fermented in 20% new French and American barrels, then aged 20 months in oak. The 2015 has a lightly green-tinted yellow-gold color, with white-rose floral notes. It is medium bodied, with notes of mellow tar and matchstick on the attack, then tart green apple, fresh pineapple, and a touch of buttery burnt caramel. A very pretty wine. AS

  • Crown Point 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon

    $159.99

    Happy Canyon Santa Barbara County
    Wine Enthusiast 97 Rating
Dark and concentrated in the glass, this bottling immediately reveals an elegantly refined polish. Aromas of blackberry, dark cocoa and black pepper lead into a palate that's concentrated but perfectly ripe. Flavors of black currant, vanilla, toast and a hint of mint are wrapped in complex yet smooth tannins and ample, fresh acidity. R10-3

Dark and delicious aromas of black cherry and cassis are lifted by star anise and purple flowers on the cohesive nose of this bottling. There is plenty of that black cherry fruit on the palate as well, but it’s presented in an elegantly restrained way, with rose petals, cocoa dust and crème brûlée flavors all arising by the long finish.
