Crown Point 2018 Relevant Red
$74.99Happy Canyon Santa Barbara County
Jeb Dunnuck 96 Rating
Functioning as the second wine of the estate (meaning younger vines and blocks that didn’t make the selection for the top cuvée), the 2018 Relevant checks in as 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot that spent 22 months in barrel. Beautifully pure cassis, violets, flowery incense, and spice notes all emerge from this beauty, which is soft, supple, layered, and just impossible to resist. It’s an opulent, sexy wine that certainly doesn’t taste like a second wine at this point. -

Wine Enthusiast 97 Rating
A dense crème de cassis aroma shows a serious edge of loamy soil, bittersweet cocoa and roasted rib eye on the nose. The palate is wrapped in smooth yet structural tannins, offering charred black currant, black olive and more cocoa, with a sizzle of acidity persistent throughout. R35-3 -
CRU Montage Vineyard 2019 Pinot Noir
$19.99 – $108.00Santa Lucia Highlands California
Opens with enticing notes of black cherry, rose petals and dark chocolate. Flavors of juicy blackberry and raspberry are layered with notes of chocolate and teal leaves that lead into the long, soft finsh. The earthiness of this pinot pairs beautifully with mushroom flavors and carmelized onions.

Pale straw in the glass, this wine has aromas of grapefruit and chopped green herbs. It offers flavors of white peach, lemon-lime, dried hillside herbs and orange zest. It is bright on the palate from first sip through the vivid finish.

On the nose you’ll immediately notice the unmistakable scent of freshly cut grass, followed by a delightful hint of tangerines & zesty lime peel. The palate is equally impressive with a backbone of wet limestone minerality and juicy notes of apricot that perfectly balances the vibrant acidity.

This is really classy with deep blackberry, violet and blueberry aromas and flavors. It’s full-bodied and super refined with integrated tannins that spread across the palate. So polished and refined. 69% malbec, 19% cabernet sauvignon, 5% petit verdot, 4% merlot and 3% syrah. Goes on for minutes. Drink or hold.

Polished and structured with firm, very fine tannins. Lots going on here, with layers of black fruit, dried spices, graphite, coconut and cracked pepper. Full-bodied and so intense. Keeps going. Long. The tannins are so fine and so numerous. One of the greatest modern gran reservas. 85% tempranillo, 10% graciano and 5% mazuelo. Try in 2025.

D.V. Catena 2021 Tinto Historico Red Blend
$19.99 – $204.00Mendoza Argentina
Wine Advocate 91 Rating
The 2021 DV Catena Tinto Histórico was produced with a blend of 75% Malbec, 18% Bonarda and 7% Petit Verdot matured in oak barrels for eight to 14 months, depending on the lot, as the grapes were vinified and aged separately. It has a medium-bodied palate and enough spice and tastiness to keep the juicy, fruit-driven profile. It finishes long, clean and tasty in a classical style.
