  • Domaine de Fontsainte 2021 Rose Corbieres Gris de Gris

    $17.99$180.00

    Languedoc-Roussillon France
A bottle of Gris de Gris never disappoints, and there is something to be said for catching the wine in its fresh, lively youth. Although it stays delicious for well over a year, there is an unmatched succulence immediately upon its arrival on our shores, as if the entire citrus family had been squeezed into a juicy nectar of crisp, mouthwatering delightfulness. Few things in life are as satisfying and refreshing as a bracing glass of this benchmark southern rosé—a lesson happily learned again and again, vintage after vintage..

  • Domaine de L’ Ile Margaux 2019 Grand Vin Red Bordeaux Superieur

    $24.99$240.00

    Bordeaux France
This robust, fruity wine is ready to drink but can also be kept for 3 to 7 years in a cellar. Beautiful crimson color. Aromas of ripe plum, currants, blackberries and fresh tobacco fill the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and well-judged acidity. There is a pleasant fleshiness here with a salinity on the finish that urges another sip.

  • Domaine de la Chapelle 2022 Pouilly-Fuisse Vieilles Vignes

    $39.99$210.00

    Burgundy France

The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Vielles Vignes, taken as a barrel sample, has a backward nose at the moment that was difficult to read. However, the palate is vibrant and slightly viscous in texture, with another impressive bead of acidity that foments tension. Of course, it’s very primal at the moment, but there is a dab of licorice emerging on the finish that I find intriguing. Look out for this.

  • Domaine de La Charbonnière 2015 Vacqueyras Cuvée Spéciale

    $34.99

    Southern Rhone Valley France
    Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
The 2015 Vacqueyras Cuvée Spéciale is another blockbuster. Made from 100% Grenache that was 70% destemmed and aged in oak tanks, it offers terrific notes of kirsch, dried herbs, ground pepper and loads of loamy soil/sandy aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, balanced and with beautiful tannin quality, drink it anytime over the coming decade. R44-1 SP36-6

  • Domaine de la Folie 2018 Rully Clos La Folie

    $36.99$186.00

    Cote Chalonnaise France
Le Clos de la Folie is the finest cuvée of the estate in the village, a white of very digestible gastronomy. This wine is characterized by its intense fruitiness (citrus) and its beautiful minerality. It goes perfectly with fish or shellfish dishes.

  • Domaine de la Janasse 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes

    $109.99

    Southern Rhone Valley
    Wine Advocate 98 Rating
The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Vieilles Vignes is a tour de force. Raspberry and apricot-scented fruit, rich chocolate notes and an incredible whirlwind of spice are delivered in this full-bodied wine that shows no heat, just waves of flavor. It should drink well for 20 years or more. R26-5

  • Domaine de la Janasse 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape

    $59.99

    Southern Rhone Valley
    Wine Advocate 92 Rating
Looking pretty close to the 2009 and 2010 in terms of quality, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape has slightly less Grenache than prior vintages, with 15% Mourvedre, 8% Syrah and the rest Grenache. Violets, underbrush, sweet black raspberry and cassis all flow from this medium to full-bodied, pure and elegantly styled effort. Showing plenty of fruit, good acidity and terrific purity, it should evolve gracefully for 12-15 years. Drink 2015-2027. R24-1

  • Domaine De La Janasse 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Chaupin

    $79.99

    Southern Rhone Valley
    Wine Advocate 94 Rating
The 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvee Chaupin, which I was able to taste (and drink) from multiple bottles, is a beautiful Grenache that comes from the cooler, northeastern edge of the appellation. Coming almost all from the Chapouin lieu-dit (it gets a small bit from La Janasse), it gives up the classic notes of black berries, spring flowers, violets, and licorice that I always seem to find in this cuvee. Building nicely on the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, has tons of sweet fruit and solid, if not firm, tannin that come out on the finish. It will be better in another couple of years and have 15+ years of overall longevity. R24-1
