  • Chateau Rauzan-Segla 2018 Margaux

    $169.99

    Bordeaux France
    Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
Reminding me of the 2016, the 2018 Château Rauzan-Segla reveals this beautifully fresh, complex bouquet that still has serious richness and depth. Based on 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, raised in 65% new barrels, it offers a dense purple hue to go with gorgeous notes of blackcurrants, spring flowers, cigar wrapper, and sandalwood. A quintessential Margaux with its spicy, complex, floral character, it's full-bodied and has a supple, elegant texture, no hard edges, a solid spine of acidity, and a great, great finish. This is a brilliant, heavenly 2018 to enjoy over the coming 30 years or more. R44-2 SP57-4

  • Chateau Talbot 2018 Saint-Julien

    $99.99

    Bordeaux France

This is densely packed with ripe macerated fig, blackberry and plum fruit flavors supported by tar and bramble notes that meld steadily through the finish. Notes of applewood and anise flash throughout. For the cellar. SP56-6

  • Chateau Talbot 2019 Saint-Julien

    $119.99

    Bordeaux France
    Wine Spectator 95 Rating
Well-built and rather refined for the vintage, with a deep well of red and black currant paste and plum reduction flavors supported by a deeply inlaid iron note, all of which run the length of the wine. Offers subtle savory, tobacco and singed cedar notes that add range, with a savory echo that leaves a mouthwatering feel in the end. Built to cellar. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2025. SP-BX12

  • Chateau Tour St-Christophe 2018 St-Emilion Grand Cru

    $49.99

    Bordeaux France
    Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
Emerging from a beautiful, terraced vineyard on the eastern side of Saint-Emilion, the 2018 Château Tour Saint Christophe is based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc that was brought up in 40% new French oak. Its vivid purple color is followed by a great nose of blackcurrants, blueberries, tobacco leaf, chocolate, violets, and chocolate. Hitting the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, it has this wonderful sense of purity and elegance, a touch of chalky minerality, flawless balance, and a great finish. This beautiful, elegant, seamless Saint-Emilion needs 4-5 years of bottle age but will evolve for 20-25 years. You won't regret having this in the cellar. 95+. SP54-8 R7-2

A powerhouse of a wine that flirts with perfection, the 2019 Hermitage reveals a dense purple hue as well as an extraordinary bouquet of sweet blue fruits supported by notes of crushed stone, lead pencil, leather, and ground pepper, with hints of flowers in the background. Full-bodied, stunningly pure, and massively concentrated, yet with riveting precision and elegance, it needs to be hidden in the back of the cellar for a decade and will evolve for 30, 40, if not 50 years. Tasting the trilogy of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 over the coming decades will be the equivalent of wine nirvana. SP39-9

  • Chave 2019 Hermitage Blanc

Another incredible white from this family is the 2019 Hermitage Blanc, a powerful, concentrated, and remarkably pure Hermitage that has laser-like focus as well as textbook Marsanne notes of quince, green almond, powdered rock, licorice, and spice. It’s still tight, focused, and inward at present, yet it reminds me of the 2018 with its purity and rare mix of power and elegance. It’s worth trying a bottle any time over the coming 3-5 years, but after that, I’d recommend waiting until after 2031. R43-2

The 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is pure and ripe with raspberry liqueur, fresh violets, and elegant wood spice. The palate has a weightless feel, with elegant structure and fully ripe tannins, fresh red fruit, and a floral lift. Drink it over the next 6-8 years. R19-4

  • Clark Claudon 2013 Eternity Cabernet Sauvignon

    $139.99

The stunning 2013 Eternity Proprietary Red wine is obviously a Bordeaux blend. It reveals unsmoked cigar tobacco and licorice, Christmas fruitcake, cedar wood and plenty of blackberry and cassis fruit along with a full-bodied palate. The oak is well-disguised by the wine’s lavish concentration and intensity. It should drink beautifully for another 20+ years. SP28-10
