Jacquesson Extra Brut Champagne Cuvée 744 NV
$79.99 – $450.00France
Wine Advocate 94 Rating
Disgorged in February 2021 with 0.75 grams per liter dosage, the NV Extra-Brut Cuvée No. 744 is based on the 2016 vintage. Exhibiting complex aromas of orange oil, crisp stone fruit, fenugreek and subtle hints of yellow Chartreuse, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and seamless, with terrific depth at the core, lively acids and a pinpoint mousse. Simultaneously vivid but replete with sapid nuance, this new release throws into relief all the work the Jacquesson brothers have made in the vineyards and cellar over the last two decades.

Jada Winery 2020 Jersey Girl Syrah
$79.99 – $420.00Paso Robles California
The 2020 Jersey Girl embodies our love for not only blends but also co-fermentations. At the core of the blend is one of our darkest clones of Syrah, clone 383, and a co-fermentation of Syrah, Viognier, and Graciano harvested on the same day. Several other Syrah-based co-fermentations were blended into the Jersey Girl to add mid-palate richness, with color and spicy and earthy notes from the Graciano and Tannat. Overall about 7% of Syrah was fermented as whole cluster to add more spice, floral notes, and complex fruit aromatics.

Wine Advocate 93 Rating
The 2020 Passing By is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petite Sirah and 2% Merlot. It has a deep ruby-purple color and scents of cassis, pencil shavings, violet, dried herbs and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is soft and juicy with loads of jammy fruit and new oak, with vanilla, brown sugar and nutmeg lingering on the finish. It’s a good effort in a challenging vintage and lovers of ripe, oaked reds can enjoy this over the next 3-5 years. R26-5

Janzen 2016 Beckstoffer To-Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon
$249.99Oakville Napa Valley California
Wine Advocate 99 Rating
A barrel sample, the very deep purple-black colored 2016 Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a little closed at this nascent juncture, offering glimpses of warm blackberry and spice cake notions with hints of incense, garrigue and hoisin. Full-bodied, rich and seductive, it has a lovely velvety texture and is packed with expressive fruit just waiting to unfurl, finishing long and multilayered. SP26-4 -

Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
From a site not far from the Hourglass Vineyard, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Cloudy’s Vineyard is upfront and charming, with full-bodied notes of macerated black cherries, cedarwood, chocolate, and licorice. It’s a mouthfilling, sexy, opulent wine that grows with time in the glass, has solid mid-palate depth, building tannins, and a great finish. Drink it any time over the coming 15-20 years. R41-1 -
Janzen 2017 Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
$229.99Napa Valley California
Wine Enthusiast 95 Rating
Only a tiny amount of this wine was made, 100% varietal from the famous site in the heart of Oakville. Lovely red fruit and ample acidity give it a lift of brightness that persists across a palate of supple power, dusted in crushed rock, dried herb and clove. This will do well over time; enjoy best from 2027–2030. R40-2 -

Lastly, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is more expressive and ready to go, offering a beautiful bouquet of cassis, blueberries, flowery incense, tobacco leaf, sandalwood, and violet-like nuances. Beautifully balanced and full-bodied, with that classic To Kalon sexiness as well as purity on the palate, this is another head-turning wine in this lineup that can be drunk today or cellared for 15-20 years. Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
From the producer's estate vineyard on the north-eastern side of the valley, this is an earthy, elegant and classically structured wine, 100% varietal and aged 22 months in entirely new French oak. Cedar, pencil shavings and cassis combine around a core of structured tannin and powerful length. R1-1 -
Janzen 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Missouri Hopper Vineyard
$149.99Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 97+ Rating
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard reveals a dense purple/blue color to go with more closed, backward (yet classic Missouri Hopper) notes of chocolaty dark fruits, tobacco leaf, espresso roast, and a hint of violets. Beautiful on the palate, it's a powerhouse that offers a monster mouthfeel, ripe, silky tannins, and a great finish. Despite all its concentration, it stays nicely balanced and has a wonderful sense of freshness, which is the hallmark of the 2018 vintage. This beauty will evolve for 25+ years. R37-3
