Marchigue Mapa 2019 Carmenere Grand Reserva
$14.99 – $144.00Colchagua Valley Chile
Made by the folks at Vinedos Errazuriz. The grapes were cold macerated then fermented for two weeks and left on skins for an additional three weeks. The wine was then pressed and has been aged on the lees for 12 months in French oak. It has a lovely nose filled with spices and lavender. This is a Big Boy! Plush, concentrated and richly textured.

Marciano 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate
$239.99Napa Valley California
Jeb Dunnuck 98+ Rating
Bottled in September of this year, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate checks in as 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Cabernet Franc brought up in French oak. Its inky purple color is followed by classic notes of blackcurrants, lead pencil shavings, spring flowers, and hints of crushed rock. Deep, seamless, ultra-pure, and incredibly classic on the palate, it's another brilliant, classic Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from winemaker Morgan Maureze. It’s slightly more reserved than the 2015 (which is to be expected as the vintages are dramatically different) and is going to benefit from 3-5 years of bottle age. R26-2 -
Marciano 2017 Estate M Proprietary Red
$139.99Napa Valley California
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
This was tasted as a barrel sample. A blend of Bordeaux varieties, the 2017 M by Marciano has a deep garnet-purple color and comes strutting out of the glass with the most gorgeous perfume of lilacs, red roses and baking spices, over a core of warm cassis, blackberry pie and preserved blueberries with wafts of pencil shavings and black loam. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is elegantly crafted with a quiet intensity and compelling tension, textured with beautifully fine-grained tannins, finishing long and fragrant. SP11-1 -

Wine Enthusiast 92 Rating
Owned by Henri Lurton, one of several Lurtons to own property in Margaux, this estate is performing in high gear. Its second wine is rich and concentrated with solid tannins as well as generous blackberry fruits. It will be impressive as it ages. Drink from 2020.

Marietta 2021 Gibson Block Syrah
$39.99 – $360.00McDowell Valley California
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
The 2021 Gibson Block Syrah comes from an incredible block of vines in McDowell Valley, planted more than 135 years ago. It’s bursting with kaleidoscopic scents of wild berry preserves, Luxardo cherries and apricot plus touches of garrigue, potpourri, aniseed and game meats. The full-bodied palate is pleasantly rustic in style, its softly chewy tannins supporting concentrated fruit. It has plenty of refreshing acidity to balance and a tremendously spicy finish. Yum!
