    An impeccably made sparkling wine from this talented winemaker, the 2022 Brut Nature comes all from Mourvèdre, made in the classic méthode champenoise style. Apple and stone fruits, some spice and floral notes, medium body, a juicy, elegant mousse, and a clean, crisp finish all define this sparkler. It’s going to evolve for 4-6 years or so, although I’d give it a year or two and drink up.

    I loved the 2020 Chateau De Sales from barrel, and it’s showing beautifully from bottle. Sporting a deep purple hue as well as a ripe, sexy, medium to full-bodied style, it has ripe, supple tannins, a layered, balanced mouthfeel, and classic aromatics of ripe black cherries, plums, licorice, spring flowers, and damp earth. It’s another beautiful, layered, elegant Pomerol in the vintage that will benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age. Best After 2026. SPBX-12

This wine has a rounded and opulent bouquet with a boysenberry jam and raspberry nose. Modern in style, the palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and good acidity. The wine has a rich red color with sheen and great intensity. Very ripe, red fruit notes on the nose contrast with spicy notes for beautiful complexity. On the palate, it has a great onset: frank, direct and sustained by beautiful red fruits that linger in the mouth throughout the tasting. Spicy and light wooden notes are present throughout. R30-3
