Dark and winey, this structured offering packs red and black currant paste flavors together with threads of charcoal, warm stone, bay leaf and savory, ending with a long tug of cast iron through the finish. Chateau De Sales 2020 Pomerol
$44.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 92 Rating
I loved the 2020 Chateau De Sales from barrel, and it’s showing beautifully from bottle. Sporting a deep purple hue as well as a ripe, sexy, medium to full-bodied style, it has ripe, supple tannins, a layered, balanced mouthfeel, and classic aromatics of ripe black cherries, plums, licorice, spring flowers, and damp earth. It’s another beautiful, layered, elegant Pomerol in the vintage that will benefit from 3-4 years of bottle age. Best After 2026. SPBX-12 -

Château de Santenay is one of Burgundy’s largest wine domaines. Its prestigious heritage, which comprises a remarkable Château with a glazed tile roof and 90 hectares of vineyards, is the product of a time-old legacy that is closely tied to the history of the Burgundy wine region. This remarkable château, with its varnished tiles, is a spectacular piece of heritage closely tied to the region’s history. Its vineyards are split between the Côte d’Or and Côte Chalonnaise. Chateau des Jacques 2020 Moulin-A-Vent
$26.99 – $144.00Beaujolais France
James Suckling 93 Rating
I love the way this sophisticated Moulin-a-Vent marries the bright red fruit you expect from Beaujolais with savory character and a warm, tannin base that enables it to turn the bright acidity of the gamay grape into a major asset. Long, complex finish with depth and energy in near-perfect balance.

Chateau Du Courlat 2016 Lussac St. Emilion
$24.99Bordeaux France
Wine Advocate 91-93 Rating
The 2016 Du Courlat has a rich, slightly jammy bouquet with redcurrant and cranberry fruit. The palate is well balanced with juicy tannins, rich but nicely controlled with a very poised and tensile finish. Now this is a lovely Lussac Saint Emilion in the making. One to watch out for. SP59-6 -
Chateau Du Parc 2015 Saint Emilion Grand
$49.99 – $270.00Bordeaux France
Enjoyabilityfactor 95 Rating
80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc aged in 100% new oak barrels. Chateau Du Parc comes from two parcels, one next to Fleur Cardinale and one next to Monbousquet. This wine has a rounded and opulent bouquet with a boysenberry jam and raspberry nose. Modern in style, the palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and good acidity. The wine has a rich red color with sheen and great intensity. Very ripe, red fruit notes on the nose contrast with spicy notes for beautiful complexity. On the palate, it has a great onset: frank, direct and sustained by beautiful red fruits that linger in the mouth throughout the tasting. Spicy and light wooden notes are present throughout. R30-3

Chateau Ducasse 2019 Blanc
$15.99 – $180.00Bordeaux France

This Bordeaux blanc is made from old Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle vines planted in complex soils of clay and limestone on fissured rock. The wine is bone-dry, even if your first whiff of sunny, slightly tropical fruit leads you to expect otherwise. On the palate, it is luscious and mouth-coating with generous passion fruit and lychee, and yet it is racy at the same time—constructed along a sturdy spine of chalk and acidity, it bears the classic Sauvignon Blanc notes of lime and grass. This blanc is astoundingly versatile at table. Exquisite with seafood, it is also perfect on its own. Value of the year? No. Value of the century!

Chateau Ducluzeau 2016 Red Blend Listrac
$29.99 – $150.00Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 90 Rating
From the team at Ducru-Beaucaillou, the 2016 Château Ducluzeau is possibly one of the finest Listracs produced in any vintage. This beauty offers a medium ruby color to go with a terrific perfume of sweet cherry and dark fruits that are supported by loads of leafy herbs, damp earth, and even hints of graphite. Shockingly deep, medium-bodied, and beautifully concentrated, with ripe tannins, it shines for its purity and nuance but offers serious intensity as well. It’s a fabulous wine to drink over the coming 10-15 years.
