Chateau Lascombes 2015 Red Blend Margaux
$99.99 – $540.00Bordeaux France
Wine Enthusiast 96 Rating
This is a powerful wine, with wood aging that adds richness to the dense tannins. Some tough extraction has not detracted from the ripe fruit or structure and will go as the wine matures. It should be ready to drink from 2026.

Chateau Lascombes 2022 Chevalier de Lascombes Margaux
$39.99 – $180.00Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
The second wine of Château Lascombes, the 2022 Chevalier de Lascombes is beautifully textured and medium-bodied, offering bright cassis and darker, almost blue fruits, alongside spicy floral nuances. It has an elegant mouthfeel and a great finish. Aged in oak barrels, this should evolve well for 10-15 years.

The Cuvelier family of Leoville-Poyferre in Saint-Julien have given us a strongly textured and rich wine from this property in Saint-Estephe. Its power and density will allow it to age well.

Chateau Le Haut-Medoc de Giscours 2015 Red Blend
$34.99 – $336.00Bordeaux France
Intense color, ranging from ruby to garnet. Black fruit notes with cassis and blackberry, followed by empyreumatic fragrances that vary between vanilla and roasting. The young reds are full-bodied, marked by a hint of oak and hints of sweet spices. After a few years of aging, the tannins melt.

Chateau Le Prieure Mouillac has an attractive, quite floral bouquet with plenty of blackberry and blueberry fruit, the oak nicely integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with supple ripe tannin, plenty of blackberry and bilberry fruit intermingling with tobacco and spice towards the finish. A great food pairing wine.

Chateau Leoville Barton 2018 Saint-Julien
$149.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 97 Rating
This estate has been on fire in recent vintages, and the 2018 Château Léoville Barton is up there with the best of them. Based on 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot that was brought up in 60% new French oak, this classic, flawlessly balanced, straight-up awesome Saint-Julien has loads of cassis and mulberry fruits as well as notes of freshly sharpened pencils, leafy tobacco, chocolate, and earth. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, it has building tannins and healthy acidity, yet the fruit is pure, perfectly ripe, and wonderfully integrated with all the wine's components. As is normal with this cuvée, it closes down with extended air and is going to take a solid 8-10 years of bottle age to reach the early stages of maturity. It's going to evolve for 30-40 years in cold cellars. R38-2 SP58-6
