  • Clos Henri 2022 Otira Glacial Stones Sauvignon Blanc

    $24.99$132.00

    Marlborough New Zealand
    James Suckling 96 Rating
This is real sauvignon blanc with sliced lemons, dried mango and hints of white pineapple with some stone. It’s full and layered with a density and presence on the palate. Long and flavorful. Phenols hold it together. One of the best NZ sauvignons out there. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

  • Clos i Terrasses 2016 Clos Erasmus

    $239.99

    Priorat Spain

Not far off the magical 2013, the 2016 Clos Erasmus shows the purity and freshness of the vintage yet backs it up with rock star depth of fruit and richness. A huge nose of blueberries, crème de cassis, blood orange, and violets give way to a full-bodied Priorat that has flawless balance and purity, a stacked mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a finish that goes on for over a minute. This is pure, elegant, yet powerful Priorat at its finest. The 2016 is a blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah that spent 18 months in 40% new oak. Give bottles 2-3 years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following 15-20 years. BX-3

  • Clos i Terrasses 2019 Clos Erasmus

    $210.00

    Priorat Spain
Quite simply, this wine is one of the absolute benchmarks for fine Priorat, and a reference in Spain. Sourced from 3 small vineyards in the Gratallops, this blend of Grenache and Syrah undergoes strict berry selection and is fermented and aged for 20 months in barrels and amphorae. It is all about dense fruit, exotic spice and licorella minerality, with a freshness and elegance are truly singular, even among the top wines of the appellation.

  • Clos i Terrasses Clos Erasmus 2017 Laurel

    $59.99

    Priorat, Spain
    Wine Advocate 95 Rating
The 2017 Laurel is a blend of the younger vines, some barrels that were declassified from Clos Erasmus and the remaining Cabernet Sauvignon, and in the low-yielding and dry 2017 vintage, it's 70% Garnacha, 20% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 15% alcohol. The wine fermented mostly in concrete and oak vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in a combination of oak vats, concrete, used barriques and amphorae for 16 months. They produce this to be approachable from the moment it's released. The 2017s feel very aromatic, open, expressive and young, quite primary, tender and juicy and surprisingly fresh for a dry, warm year that resulted in a very early harvest. There is a peachy, soft, approachable quality here that I like very much. Surprisingly enough, winemaker and proprietor Daphne Glorian sees reminiscences of the 2013s in the 2017s, and I have to agree. SP40-1

  • Clos Saint Jean 2018 Chateauneuf Du Pape La Combe Des Fous

    $149.99

    Southern Rhone Valley France
    Jeb Dunnuck 98 Rating
The star of the show in 2018 is the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape La Combe Des Fous, which has an incredible mix of complexity, power, and elegance that’s something to behold. Sporting a deep purple/plum color as well as a killer bouquet of blackcurrants, lavender, peppery garrigue, graphite, and white chocolate, it hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a seamless, multi-dimensional texture, incredible tannins, and a gorgeous finish. This is as good as 2018 gets, and while it’s already impossible to resist, it’s going to evolve for 15+ years. SP34-4

  • Cloudline 2021 Pinot Noir

    $19.99$192.00

    Willamette Valley Oregon
    Wine Advocate 91 Rating
Part of the Domaine Drouhin Oregon portfolio, the 2021 Pinot Noir from Cloudline is very easy to drink! Medium ruby-purple in the glass, it's scented of cranberries, blackberries and blueberries with touches of mushroom and lavender. Light-bodied, soft and juicy, it offers generous, perfumed fruit and a long, floral finish. It's exported around the world and should be fairly easy to find.
