Immensely inviting, this opens with fragrant pipe tobacco, crushed berry, new leather and pressed violet aromas. On the palate, firm, refined tannins underpin juicy black cherry, raspberry and cinnamon flavors, while orange zest accents and an energizing mineral note lift the finish. It’s beautifully balanced with bright acidity and will reward a bit of cellaring. Drink 2020–2032. R3-1 -
Conti Costanti 2019 Brunello di Montalcino
$104.99 – $540.00Tuscany Italy
Decanter Magazine 100 Rating
Simply gloriously sculpted, the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino is indeed statuesque and stately. While it doesn’t give everything up all at once, it is gracious in its presentation. From chestnut forest and sweet earth, to anise and orange extract, the aromas are visceral, and boundless depths of wild red berries suffuse the palate. It vibrates with scintillating acidity and long, tactile tannins which stretch out leisurely. I bet that Rosso has hit its stride now – if you have some, it’s what you’ll want to drink while waiting for this captivatingly beautiful Brunello.

Continuum 2018 Proprietary Red
$289.99Napa Valley California
Wine Advocate 100 Rating
Composed of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Cabernet Franc, 9% Petit Verdot and 6% Merlot, the deep garnet-purple 2018 Proprietary Red has a fantastically fragrant nose of candied violets, red roses, Morello cherries and blackcurrant pastilles with hints of wild blueberries, red currant jelly, iron ore and forest floor, plus a waft of cinnamon stick. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is completely packed with tightly wound black and red berry layers, framed by firm, ripe, finely grained tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with incredibly persistent and evocative floral and mineral layers. An absolute head-turner, this 2018 is all that and then some. Tim Mondavi mentioned that this is due to be bottled in just a few weeks—mid-August—meaning this barrel sample I tasted is pretty close to being a finished wine. With the estate vineyard turning 10 year's old in 2018, here's where we see how incredibly special this singular Pritchard Hill site really is. SP11-1 -
Cooper & Thief Bourbon Barrel Aged Red
$24.99 – $228.00California
Cooper and Thief is a dark and jammy red wine blend loaded with bourbon-inspired flavors and aromas. Crafted by Cellarmaster, Jeff Kasavan, our wine is aged for three months in bourbon barrels, which gives way to soft, velvety tannins with a subtle heat. The combined result is a rich flavor, with a long, lingering finish.

Corazon Del Sol 2019 Malbec Uco Valley
$21.99 – $216.00Mendoza Argentina
A selection of three different vineyard blocks in the Los Chacayes region of the Uco Valley ranging in elevation from 3,000 – 3,700 feet. Under the guidance of famed Argentine Winemakers, Santiago Achaval, and Cristian Moor, this fruit is hand-picked, hand-sorted, and micro-fermented by individual block. This results in an expression of high-altitude Malbec with floral and fresh notes accented by elegant tannins developed by the intense sunlight and cool nights in the Uco Valley.

Cordero di Montezemolo 2022 Arneis Langhe
$23.99 – $216.00Piedmont Italy
Wine Advocate 90 Rating
Packaged in its powdery blue label (a color that magically triggers a yearning for a white wine, in my opinion), the Cordero di Montezemolo 2022 Langhe Arneis is all about brightness and freshness. Seeing stainless steel only, the wine is true to the Arneis grape with a waxy texture and fragrant tones of white rose, pear, quince and papaya. There are nuances of crushed limestone as well.
