K Vintners 2018 King Coal Stoneridge Vineyard
$89.99Columbia Valley Washington State
Jeb Dunnuck 98 Rating
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon / Syrah King Coal Stoneridge Vineyard is another beautifully layered, complex wine from the team at K Vintners, based on 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Syrah. It offers lots of classic Cabernet tobacco, cedary herbs, and graphite notes, with the Syrah offering a more plush, sexy, seamless style to the wine. Loaded with red and black fruits, toasted spice, and chocolate, full-bodied, concentrated, yet seamless and incredibly pure, this gorgeously layered blend has enough tannins to warrant short-term cellaring yet is going to evolve gracefully for 15-20 years in cold cellars. It's a gorgeous wine. R45-3 SP22-2 -

K Vintners 2022 Art Den Hoed Viognier
$19.99 – $108.00Yakima Valley Washington State
Jeb Dunnuck 94 Rating
A brilliant expression of the variety, the 2022 Viognier Art Den Hoed Vineyard has tight, almost reductive aromatics of tart apricots, bananas, and salted citrus. It’s pure, medium to full-bodied, has a gorgeous texture, and outstanding length. Coming all from a site in the Yakima Valley and aged in equal parts concrete and used barrels, it will have 2-4 years of prime drinking. It’s one of the finest Viognier outside of Condrieu.

Kistler 2021 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
$59.99California
The Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a combination of Kistler’s single vineyards, the exact proportions of which are an elusive bit of information to find. Just like its big brothers, the Sonoma Coast designate is fermented in small open-top fermenters, and the free-run juice is barrel aged and remains in barrel for fourteen to eighteen months until bottling. -
Kistler Vineyards 2022 Chardonnay Sonoma Mountain
$69.99California
The wines from 2022, the second of three consecutive cooler vintages for Kistler, offer a distinct character of freshness and a perfect sense of being just ripe throughout. The growing season could very well be described as being verdant. Good rains that moved them away from but not entirely out of the drought in the winter led to a cool wet spring and a mild summer with wetting rains across both seasons. Naturally low crops and a clement tone to the late summer weather led to good concentration and acid retention in the fruit. The winery avoided the pronounced Labor Day heat wave, finishing the last of our picks as it settled in thereby capturing the fresh nature of the vintage.
