  • Gerard Raphet 2018 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru

    $249.99

    Burgundy France
Here too there is just enough wood to remark upon serving as a backdrop for the more deeply pitched aromas of plum, dark raspberry and warm earth scents. This dusty and delicious effort should also reward up to a decade of cellaring. The palate is full-bodied there’s no arguing otherwise and unfolds with dense, concentrated layers of dark berry liqueur and crushed minerals. Even with such a luxurious, palate-coating mouthfeel, it never loses sight of its blue-blooded Burgundian identity. One for the Burgundy purists. R7-1 SP4-6

This wine has a beautiful garnet color. The nose is characterized by notes of black fruits with spices, a sign of maturity. The woody aromas bring a beautiful structure to the wine which has a great length in the mouth as well as silky and delicate tannins. From the selection of our best wines, this red Bordeaux reflects the expertise of the House Ginestet. SP58-6

  • Guigal 2019 Gigondas

    $39.99$198.00

    Southern Rhone Valley France
    Wine Spectator 91 Rating
Understated style, with light incense and worn cedar notes running along the edges of the slightly dried currant, raspberry and red cherry fruit flavors. The cedary edge lingers longest in the end. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2023 through 2030.

  • Jean-Louis Chave Selection 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Silene

    $34.99

    Northern Rhone Valley France
    Vinous 93 Rating
Inky ruby. Pungent, mineral-accented black and blue fruit qualities on the nose, along with hints of olive, licorice and peony that build in the glass. Supple and weighty on the palate, offering expansive blackberry and boysenberry flavors that become firmer with air. The floral note comes back strong on the penetrating finish, which shows outstanding persistence and fine-grained, well-knit tannins. 60% of this fruit was sourced from the granitic soils and steep slopes in the northern sector of the appellation and the other 40% came from the south, where the soils are lighter, based mostly on limestone clay and covered in large alluvial stones and smaller river rocks. R27-1

  • Jean-Marc Brocard 2022 Sainte Claire Chablis

    $24.99$264.00

    Burgundy France
    Decanter Magazine 93 Rating
Some of the vines here are over 70 years old. Even with a reticent, understated nose one can sense the energy and precision in this wine. There’s a lovely, creamy texture on the palate, with bright citrus notes and a long, lingering, savoury, mineral finish. A very fine example of Chablis which would compete very effectively against many a premier cru.
