Bouchard Père & Fils 2018 Corton-Charlemagne Domaine
$199.99 – $1,080.00Burgundy France
Wine Spectator 95 Rating
There is a creaminess to the texture in this white, whose profile borders on broad and muscular. Apple, lemon and stone flavors hold center court, while elements of spice and mineral lurk on the lingering finish. Best from 2024 through 2036. 175 cases imported..

Brotte 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Hauts de Barville
$39.99 – $180.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Jeb Dunnuck 93 Rating
Lots of ripe black fruits (blackberries, black cherries) emerge from the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Hauts De Barville, another complex, medium to full-bodied, wonderfully textured 2020. Herbes de Provence, sweet garrigue, and peppery nuances define the nose, and it’s already drinking nicely, yet should evolve for a decade.

This 2022 Brotte Esprit Barville Cotes du Rhone Blanc is a delightful white wine from the Rhone Valley in France. It has a light golden hue and a nose of citrus, white flowers, and a hint of honey. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with flavors of lemon, green apple, and a hint of minerality. The finish is long and balanced with a pleasant acidity. This wine is perfect for pairing with seafood, salads, and light cheeses. It is a great choice for a summer evening or a special occasion. A pale gold hue, limpid, which sublimates a delicate bubble. At the first nose, a few brioche notes, slightly toasted as well as aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as mirabelle plums. When aired, elegant raspberry aromas unfold. As the wine evolves, it reveals slight hints of cedar wood. Beautiful structure and freshness; minerality and saltiness in the mouth. Slight notes of grapefruit zest are delicately expressed on a long and persistent finish.

Chapelle St. Theodoric 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Guigasse
$99.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Wine Advocate 95-97 Rating
Scents of roses, garrigue and blackberries mark the nose of the 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape La Guigasse, still aging in demi-muids at the time of my visit. It's one of those special wines that manages to be full-bodied and concentrated, yet also pillowy-soft, nearly ethereal in the mouth. A bit more tannic and stern on the finish than the 2020 Le Grand Pin, it finishes long, with a lingering note of licorice. 100% Grenache. R18-5 -

Remarkable depth of mature aromas – tons of candied lemon peel, dried pear and brioche – plus wonderful textural richness on the palate make this stand out amongst the regular Brut NVs. Then comes the intense and very long, mineral finish to crown this prince of the category. Based on 2016 base wines, but with 52% reserve wines, almost a third of which were 10 to 20 years of age. Drink or hold.

Chateau Bellefont Belcier 2016 St-Emilion Grand Cru
$69.99Bordeaux France
Jeb Dunnuck 95 Rating
The 2016 Château Bellefont-Belcier was truly brilliant on all three occasions I was able to taste it, rating 95 twice and 97 once. Coming from a 13.5-hectare vineyard on the magical Côte Pavie (it’s right next door to Larcis-Ducasse) and a blend of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 80% new oak, it offers a black fruit-driven style as well as loads of black raspberries, black cherries, graphite, leafy herbs, and hints of incense. It's powerful, full-bodied, has building sweet tannins, and the rock star purity of fruit that's the hallmark of the vintage. It’s an awesome wine to drink over the coming 20-25 years. SP51-5
