So much ash and dried-strawberry character. Burnt orange-peel undertones. Tar, too. It’s full-bodied with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Lots of rose petals. This needs four or five years to open, but nicely integrated now.

Ripe, blue-toned fruit, spice, chocolate, leather and licorice fill out the layers in an ample, full-bodied Gran Selezione. Here, too, changes in vinification and aging yielded a wine that marries refinement with textural resonance. Superb.

Characterized by strong citrus fruit notes, such as pink grapefruit and floral notes which blend with the first ones, exalting each other, leaving an extremely pleasing retro-olfactory sensation. In the mouth stand out the fruity notes of peach and grapefruit, there are also hints of tropical fruit such as passion fruit and mango. With time will develop sensations of Mediterranean herbs: thyme, sage and rosemary. Rich wine with an extremely passionate character, sapid and mineral in the mouth.
