The sip is broad and soft, the palate rich in saline sensations that blend with hints of buttery pastry and an evident toasted hazelnut. Lots of bright red fruit on the nose and palate, together with dried and fresh herbs. Medium-bodied with medium tannins and a fresh, lightly firm finish. Good substance, but lacks a bit of depth on the palate for now. Although it drinks well even now, I would give this a chance to broaden out.
