Domaine du Pegau 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee da Capo
$299.99
Jeb Dunnuck 99 Rating
The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Da Capo is smoking good. Blackcurrants, lavender, garrigue, violets, cured meats and saddle leather all flow from this rich, unctuous, incredibly decadent 2015 that has sweet tannin, a huge mid-palate, and more concentration than just about every other wine in the vintage. Domaine du Pegau 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
$59.99Southern Rhone Valley France
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Pegau's 2019 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Réservée is almost Burgundian in character, the way it balances upfront generosity with mouthwatering length. The flavors are different, offering hints of crushed stone, underripe pineapple, white peach and dried spices, then this medium to full-bodied wine adds vaguely chalky textural elements on the long finish. Silky and streamlined, it does a wonderful job of preserving freshness throughout. SPB1-1 -

The 2020 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée is one of the strongest vintages for this wine in recent history. It is magnificent, soaring from the glass with pungent aromas of crème de cassis, ripe raspberry and strawberry, cured meat, tobacco, licorice, iodine and garrigue. Full-bodied, vibrant to the core and offering a multidimensional profile, this wine is really, really good. The Féraud family and the entire team deserve a round of applause for this sublime Cuvée Réservée, which will still be kicking ass 20 years from now. R45-4 SP37-17 -
Domaine Du Pere Caboche 2021 Chateauneuf du Pape
$34.99 – $324.00Southern Rhone Valley France
The color is bright and deep ruby red with bluish highlights. The nose is intense with full aromas of ripe red fruits, mineral (schist) and smoky hints on soft spices. This full-bodied wine has a nice balance between sweetness and a fine tannic structure. The fruity and peppery flavors dominate on licorice and Espelette pepper finish. This Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine is really complex, full of freshness and elegance with a long finish. 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre.

Domaine du Pre Semele 2021 Sancerre
$34.99 – $336.00Loire Valley France
Although typical Sauvignon smell (blackcurrant buds, citrus fruits, yellow fruits), ample, supple, mineral and fruity on the palate. The liveliness is balanced against the sweetness due to a right ripeness. Smooth and fresh wine, served with grilled fish, seafood and even as an aperitif.

Domaine du Vieux Lazaret 2022 Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc
$39.99 – $396.00Southern Rhone Valley France
Light yellow gold. Attractive, multifaceted aroma, youthful and moderately full, showing a mélange of quince and fennel complemented by a toasted note. The palate reveals more, notably ripe yellow fruits, spice and herbal highlights. At first open, the wine falls off slightly, then continues to reveal a persistent aromatic conclusion. Well-integrated acidity surfaces at the end together with a mouth-coating texture. Easily the best wine for pairing with lobster but also delicious with other seafood, puff-pastries, white meats, or goat cheeses.

Domaine Dubois Bernard & Fils 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Les Bressandes
$59.99Burgundy France
Domaine Dubois Bernard is a tiny domaine of 7 hectares that is based in the village of Chorey-Les Beaune. The current owner and winemaker, Jacques Dubois, is the 5th generation of his family to make wine in this small village. Jacques continues his family’s tradition of making terroir-pure wines from their small parcels around Chorey and Savigny. The domaine farms their high altitude parcels with extreme care, focusing on small yields and sustainable practices. Once in the cellar, extraction is kept to an absolute minimum, only indigenous yeasts are used, and the wines are aged and fermented in barrel. The results speak for themselves, as the range of wines are terroir pure, mineral focused beauties with depth and immense clarity. SP2-5 -
Domaine Faiveley 2020 Beaune Clos de l’Ecu Premier Cru
$99.99Cote de Beaune Cote d'Or Burgundy France
Wine Advocate 93 Rating
Aromas of raspberries, cherries, sweet spices, raw cocoa and peonies preface the 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Clos de l'Écu Monopole, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated and vibrant wine with tangy acids, melting tannins and a long, saline finish. This is very promising. SP3-6 -
Domaine Faiveley 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes
$69.99Burgundy France
The nose is elegant, and racy and offers a certain power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet, and more slightly – notes of bright wild berries associated with touches of smoke, pepper, bright black plum as well as hints of spice, camphor and a subtle almost saline note. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy frame, a nice freshness, subtlety, a certain straightness (all in elegance), harmony, finesse, tension as well as a nice delicate touch on the palate. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/creamy blackberry, juicy/tangy blackcurrant, and more slightly – notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, violet, juicy/tangy cherry as well as slight hints of small tangy/bright blue fruits, vanilla, toast and nutmeg. The tannins are soft and elegant. Good length. R21-5
