  • Jean-Louis Chave Selection 2018 Crozes-Hermitage Silene

    $34.99

    Northern Rhone Valley France
    Vinous 93 Rating
Inky ruby. Pungent, mineral-accented black and blue fruit qualities on the nose, along with hints of olive, licorice and peony that build in the glass. Supple and weighty on the palate, offering expansive blackberry and boysenberry flavors that become firmer with air. The floral note comes back strong on the penetrating finish, which shows outstanding persistence and fine-grained, well-knit tannins. 60% of this fruit was sourced from the granitic soils and steep slopes in the northern sector of the appellation and the other 40% came from the south, where the soils are lighter, based mostly on limestone clay and covered in large alluvial stones and smaller river rocks. • Jean-Marc Brocard 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses

    $99.99$510.00

    Burgundy France

The Les Preuses Grand Cru site is located on a geological ‘amphitheater’ created by the Vaudésir valley. The vines are planted to a southeastern exposure, receiving heaps of sunshine to aid in ripening. The sub-soil offers a harmonious combination of compact clay and calcareous soils.
Aromatically the wine is intensely floral and stone fruit-driven, with quince, Asian pears, yellow apples, jasmine, and honeysuckle lifting from the glass. On the palate, there is a luxurious creaminess to the wine, with a final note of bracing minerality to balance it out.

  • Jean-Marc Brocard 2022 Sainte Claire Chablis

    $24.99$264.00

    Burgundy France
    Decanter Magazine 93 Rating
Some of the vines here are over 70 years old. Even with a reticent, understated nose one can sense the energy and precision in this wine. There’s a lovely, creamy texture on the palate, with bright citrus notes and a long, lingering, savoury, mineral finish. A very fine example of Chablis which would compete very effectively against many a premier cru.

  • Jim Barry 2012 The Armagh Shiraz

    $239.99

    South Australia
    Wine Advocate 98+ Rating
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2012 Shiraz The Armagh offers a gorgeous perfume of baking spices, violets, Sichuan pepper and fragrant earth. More earthy and savory in the mouth than on the nose, the palate is superbly structured and taut—built for the long-haul—with a long, complex finish. Still very youthfully, forget this wine for 3-5 more years and consider drinking it over the next 20+. R45-1
