Turley 2014 Petite Sirah Library Vineyard Napa Valley
$99.99California
Wine Advocate 95 Rating
Noticeably floral with blueberries and blackberries is the 2014 Petite Syrah Library Vineyard, from a site adjacent to the Hayne Vineyard on the back streets of St. Helena. Again, this has civilized tannins that are silky and well-integrated, followed by a wine with an enormous wealth of fruit, lavish concentration, and extravagant texture and richness. It is always hard to peg when these will hit full maturity, but this one has a good 5-10 years of development and should keep for three decades as well. SP19-1 -

The 2015 Petite Syrah Pesenti Vineyard is a deep, unctuous wine. Crème de cassis, black pepper, sage, lavender, game and graphite inflections are front and center in a Petite endowed with considerable Paso intensity and richness. The Pesenti is another stand out in this tasting of 2015s. SP19-1 -
Turley 2015 Zinfandel Duarte
$59.99Contra Costa County California
This wine is an homage to Joe Duarte, a prominent grape grower in Contra Costa who first introduced Turley to the incredible vineyards of the area. The wine is comprised of fruit from the turn-of-the-century Evangehlo, Mori and Salvador vineyards, planted between 1890 and 1930. As a result of the sandy soils and impressive age of the vines, the wine has some of the softest, silkiest tannins we’ve ever seen in a Zinfandel. SP16-1 -
Turley 2015 Zinfandel Duarte Contra Costa County
$69.99California
Antonio Galloni 91 Rating
The 2015 Zinfandel Duarte Vineyard is powerful, bold and direct in this vintage. Dark cherry, violet, spice and plum are front and center. Juicy, forward and supple, the 2015 is a good choice for drinking young, while the fruit remains vibrant. As always, Duarte is a blend of four sites; Evangelho, Del Barba and Mori, plus a bit of Salvador. SP19-1 -
Turley 2015 Zinfandel Salvador Contra Costa County
$74.99California
The 2015 Zinfandel from the Salvador Vineyard in Contra Costa County is described as “stunning: silky, complex, and powerfully elegant” and is made from organically farmed vines that were planted on their own roots in 1896. The roots are free to roam deeply, as the soil is solid sand for 40 feet down. The wine is loaded with zesty pepper, smoky plum and briary flavors. SP19-1 -

Turley 2016 Petite Sirah Library Vineyard Napa Valley
$114.99California
Wine Advocate 96 Rating
The 2016 Petite Syrah Library Vineyard is superb, and one of the high points of this year's Turley portfolio. From a site in downtown Saint Helena, the wine exhibits a deep bouquet of blackberries, plums and rose petals that shares some of the aromatic range found in the Hayne bottling. On the palate, it's full-bodied, rich and chewy, with tangy acids, a deep core and a rich chassis of structuring tannins, concluding with a fragrant finish. SP19-1 SP15-1
