  • Cafaggio 2019 Chianti Classico Riserva

    $24.99$240.00

    Tuscany Italy
    Decanter Magazine 93 Rating
Boasting six centuries of grape growing, the Cafaggio estate has passed through numerous ownerships. The latest, as of 2016, is Italian financial company, ISA, who have kept on renowned enologist Attilio Pagli who has been consulting here since 2005. Recent tastings confirm the positive direction, including this 2019 Riserva. It is so classically Panzano, with deep cherry, earthy forest undergrowth and sunbaked stone. The structure is confidently commanding yet balanced, the restrained wood well integrated. Full yet refreshing, this won’t last long at the dinner table.

  • Cala Civetta 2021 Ciliegiolo Maremma Toscana

    $9.99$96.00

    Tuscany Italy
Believed to be a parent to Sangiovese (based on DNA evidence) Ciliegiolo certainly has plenty of telltale cherry aromas and flavors to offer. That said, this grape is slightly different than its offspring: richer in phenols and darker in color, it has softer, rounder tannins and less acidity, making it the perfect, approachable glass with a classic Tuscan meal. In the case of Cala Civetta, the wine is lean and clean, with a high-energy mouthfeel, ripe fruit, and a crowd-pleasing finish. A wonderful option from the Maremma that is both familiar and fresh at once.

  • Cambria 2022 Pinot Noir Julia’s Vineyard

    $24.99$240.00

    Santa Maria Valley California
    Jeb Dunnuck 90 Rating
The value-priced 2022 Pinot Noir Julia’s Vineyard comes from a site in the Santa Maria Valley and was brought up in 22% new French oak. Its translucent ruby hue is followed impressive notes of ripe cherry and strawberry fruits supported by pretty spice, flora, and leafy herb-like aromas and flavors. A wine that would hand many a Village Burgundy its ass, it’s well worth buying and drinking over the coming 3-5 years.

  • Canard Vineyard 2022 Cuvee des Cendres Rose

    $24.99$120.00

    Paso Robles California
Cuvée des Cendres (“from the ashes”) represents the unwavering resolve of the California farmers, vintners and winemakers who have faced so many devastating fires over the last few years. In our case, it is not a phoenix rising on the label, but a duck. After all we are Canard Vineyard. We lost all of our Napa Valley estate wines in the 2020 Glass Fire, including our much beloved Coucher de Soleil Estate Rosé. In a true multi-AVA collaboration, our French trained winemaker got to work and sourced some beautiful high altitude Grenache from Paso Robles, CA and made the wine in Sonoma, CA. This Provence inspired rosé is crisp, bright with beautiful notes of strawberry, tropical fruits, citrus and a hint of hibiscus. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this limited production wine will be donated to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund to support those who have lost so much in the wake of the fires. 100% Grenache. regular $34.99
