Description
Expansion / Vinification
The wine is stored in wooden barrels, with a capacity of 10,000 liters, in which the malolactic fermentation takes place. After that, the wine rests in French barriques for 18 to 24 months. After bottling, the wine remains in the bottle for 6 months before it goes on sale.
Suitability
Excellent with leg of lamb, venison, wild boar, roast beef or grilled meats.

The Tenute Girolamo covers 50 hectares of vines and is located in the middle of the Itria Valley in Puglia. The Girolamo family replanted the vineyards in 2001 and completely rebuilt the winery. The buildings have been holistically optimized for the processes of wine production and the architecture is reminiscent of the ancient buildings of the area. Tenute Girolamo winery is located in the Apulian Itria Valley, a fillet of regional viticultural quality. The winery covers about 50 hectares of vines. With great passion, the Girolamo family, after its foundation in 2001, dedicates itself to the continuous replanting of unused vineyard areas. In 2006, the recultivation was largely completed and the fruits of the great effort could finally be reaped. In the vineyards, the Famiglia Girolamo plant both native and international grape varieties. The wines of Girolamo set standards even in this up-and-coming region with its enormous quality density and you are well equipped for a successful appearance on the international stage.
