Harvey & Harriet 2022 White Blend Central Coast California
James Suckling 92 Rating
Inviting aromas of ripe pineapple and candied lemons with hints of honeysuckle, citrus blossom, praline and some flinty minerality to it. Medium- to full-bodied with a structured, creamy palate offering ripe fruit and mineral undertones. Rich but balanced and attractive.
Boissy & Delaygue 2021 Lou Pontias Cotes du Rhone Rouge Southern Rhone Valley
Decanter Magazine 95 Rating
This deeply colored wine has an inviting nose of dark cherry and chocolate. The palate is dense and rich, with mouth-coating blackberry fruit and layers of chocolate, savory spice and gently chewy tannins.
Daou Vineyards 2021 The Pessimist Red Paso Robles California
Wine Advocate 92 Rating
The 2021 Pessimist is a blend of 75% Petite Sirah, 10% Syrah, 11% Zinfandel, 2% Lagrein and 2% Malbec matured for 10 months in 60% new French oak. It has an opaque ruby-purple color and lush scents of cassis, blueberry jam, violet, lavender and hints of powdered sugar. The full-bodied palate is supple and fresh with gently candied fruits and a satisfying finish. This will be a crowd-pleaser.
