Lots of ripe black fruits (blackberries, black cherries) emerge from the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Hauts De Barville, another complex, medium to full-bodied, wonderfully textured 2020. Herbes de Provence, sweet garrigue, and peppery nuances define the nose, and it’s already drinking nicely, yet should evolve for a decade.
